‘Moishe’ is a short film based on the true story of Moishe Gralnick and of the Cantonists. This is the real history of a Ukrainian boy’s defiance to the Russian military’s attempts to erase his Jewish identity. We follow a 12 year old Moishe in a journey from his Jewish community in Ukraine to an institution with the goal of converting Jews to Christianity. Moishe struggles with his faith, friendships and fights for survival.

My Neighbour Adolf

Colombia, 1960. Marek Polsky (David Hayman), a lonely and grumpy Holocaust survivor, lives in a remote Colombian village. He spends his days playing chess and taking care of his beloved rose bushes. One day, when a mysterious elderly German (Udo Kier) moves into the house next door, Polsky begins to suspect that his new neighbor is none other than... Adolf Hitler. Since no one believes him, he starts his own investigation. However, to gather information, he will have to get closer to his neighbour than he would like - so close that the two might almost become friends. If only one didn't suspect the other of crimes against humanity.

Having missed his plane and been kicked off the bus in the Sinai Desert, his last hope is Adel, a grumpy Bedouin looking for his camel. When their car breaks down, it becomes a matter of their very survival. The film, which starts out like a crazy comedy, slows down and hits more serious tones as Adel unveils the philosophy of nomadic life during conversations under the stars and discusses religion with Ben. On a stormy night in early 2021, a whale’s body washed ashore at Nitzanim beach in Israel. Over the documentation of the encounter between people and the carcass, we hear the voices of several witnesses who were present at the rare occurrence. From the fabric of responses, a collective experience shines, regarding the dialogue between life and death.

The idea for the film emerged from a deep interest in relationships between fathers and sons—in the wisdom that's shared, and in the secrets that are kept across generations.
