The Warsaw Jewish Film Festival (WJFF) has been a destination for international award-winning films on Jewish topics and themes for 23 years already, which makes it the oldest festival of this kind in Poland and Eastern Europe. The festival focuses on top-notch international fiction, documentaries, and short films with Jewish-related content - impactful films that promote inclusivity, diversity, and encourage dialogue, peace and social change. Movies, which present Jewish culture, explore Jewish history as well as contemporary life of Jewish communities from around the globe.

Our goal is to give Jewish and non-Jewish moviegoers the opportunity to get acquainted with different perspectives of Jewish issue reflected on the screen. Furthermore, our goal is to offer compelling and memorable film programs to as large an audience as possible. Since the first edition in 2003 we showed our audience more than 1000 movies and invited hundreds of filmmakers, distributors, producers, film experts and artists from more than 30 countries!

The festival has grown to include a variety of arts and media – from educational film programs for schools and film workshops for students, through culinary film events, online screenings & live webinars, to a music performances and photo exhibits.

WJFF loves to promote filmmakers working with Jewish themes. Our festival has an international competition with THE CAMERA OF DAVID AWARDS. Our team selected and awarded dozens of movies which later won OSCARS & awards at the biggest world-famous festivals!

WJFF presents THE CAMERA OF DAVID AWARDS in the following categories:
