FRANZ KAFKA
dir. Agnieszka Holland, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, France, 2025, 127 min
This special event is held as part of the "ROAD TO WARSAW JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL." The Polin Museum and the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival invite you to a special screening of the film "Franz Kafka" directed by Agnieszka Holland - a poignant portrait of a writer whose imagination and sensitivity were ahead of their time.
The international production "Franz Kafka" is a moving cinematic portrait of one of the most important writers of the 20th century – a literary genius, a visionary, and at the same time, a man entangled in fears and dilemmas that are also close to contemporary audiences. Holland builds an extraordinary mosaic from the most important moments of Kafka's life, in which the writer's private experiences meet universal questions about loneliness, identity, and the human condition.
