This is the story of an eccentric genius with a rare gift who would rather be thought of as a ‘dangerous dinner guest’ than a man with a tragic backstory. André Tchaikowsky's story starts in the Warsaw ghetto from where he made a miraculous escape, to rapid fame as a pianist touring the world with Rubinstein, but his greatest wish was to be a composer. The complexity of André's music and some hitherto surprising and unknown events in his life, as well as the sight of his masterful opera on the world stage, all lead to an ending that would please this contrary but fascinating individual.
