“FRANZ KAFKA” SCREENING

In a world where reality constantly slips from our grasp, the work of Franz Kafka remains a mirror of human anxiety.

The Polin Museum and the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival invite you to a special screening of the film "Franz Kafka" directed by Agnieszka Holland - a poignant portrait of a writer whose imagination and sensitivity were ahead of their time.

This special event is held as part of the "ROAD TO WARSAW JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL." Join us for the full festival from November 3–11, 2025. Program announcement coming soon!

FRANZ KAFKA by Agnieszka Holland: October 25, 2025, 6:00 PM, POLIN Museum

This international production, awarded the Silver Lions in Gdynia and submitted as Poland’s candidate for the Academy Award, depicts Kafka as a man torn between the world of literature and his own shadow. The film was enthusiastically received at film festivals in Toronto and Karlovy Vary.
