NO TO VIOLENCE!
No to violence! No to attacking defenceless Israeli citizens!
The Camera of David Foundation strongly opposes appalling escalation of violence occurring because of the cynical policies of Hamas. There can be no place for terrorists in the modern world. Savage methods of conducting warfare must be eradicated immediately!
We stand in solidarity with all the civilian victims of the events of recent days. We hope that the efforts made for dialogue and peace will bear fruit as soon as possible.
We will express our solidarity with the citizens of Israel and all the victims of the conflict together with our partners at the opening gala of the 21st Warsaw Jewish Film Festival "CAMERA OF DAVID" on 23 October at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. During the ceremony we will commemorate the Israeli filmmakers murdered in recent days. That day will also see the Polish premiere of 'GOLDA', directed by Guy Nattiv, about the Yom Kippur War, ultimately victorious for Israel.
An Israeli production will also accompany the closing night, which will take place on 29 October at the POLIN Museum. We will present the film ‘DELEGATION’ (DELEGATION / HA-MISLAHAT), directed by Asaf Saban.
