WJFF IN CRACOW!
9th Review of Jewish-Themed Films “THE SPACE OF AN IMAGE":
June, 28-30.06, 2023 Krakow
We invite you to the 9th Review of Jewish-Themed Films “THE SPACE OF AN IMAGE", which will take place on June 28-30, 2023 at the Galicia Jewish Museum (in the High Synagogue, 38 Józefa Street - subterranean hall). The event is organized by the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival, the David's Camera Foundation, and the Galicia Jewish Museum. The event takes place as part of the Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow.
The “Space of an image" is the only review of Jewish-themed films in Lesser Poland. The inaugural edition took place in 2015 at the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow and met with great interest from the audience. Since then, every year at the turn of June and July at Kazimierz in Krakow, contemporary, ambitious, and non-commercial films are presented, addressing the issues of Jewish heritage, complicated Polish-Jewish relations, searching for one's own identity, or the life of Jewish communities around the world. All screenings are of free entrance and will take place at the High Synagogue, 38 Józefa Street (subterranean hall).
