THANK YOU!

On behalf of “Kamera Dawida” Foundation and Warsaw Jewish Film Festival’s team we would like to wish Happy and Prosperous New Year - our partners, donors, sponsors,  colleagues, and primarily public audience! We would like to thank you whilst, you were with us during the 20th anniversary jubilee of the festival. Thanks to you, since 2003, we have an honor to present in Poland the most interesting current cinematographic works devoted to Jewish and Israeli themes, accomplish projects socially engaged and conduct widely-reached popularizing  and educating activities.

Over these two decades festival has been changing with surrounding world. In 2013  Museum of the History of Polish Jews has opened its building for visitors and become our main partner. 10 years of cooperation between Polin Museum and WJFF signifies tens of joint projects, exchanged experiences and essentially the possibility of shared mission implementation. In 2020 during the lockdown, festival has got its online version thanks to which reached over 40 000 addressees country-wide, who are presently with us. Our undertaking remains the largest and oldest projects this kind in Poland and one of the first in Europe. Before the second world war Warsaw was the biggest Jewish center in Europe and the second after New York world-widely. Nowadays Warsaw remembers its history and supports Warsaw Jewish Film Festival each year. We greatly thank you for this support which enables us to grow this great initiative.

Once more we greatly thank our partners and media sponsors: Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Association of The Jewish Historical Institute of Poland, The City of Warsaw, Mazovian Voivodeship, The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, JOODS Humanitarian Founds, Taube Foundation, Polish Film Institute, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Embassy of Israel, Embassy of Germany, Embassy of the Netherlands, Embassy of Canada, French Institute, British Embassy, JCC Warsaw, JCC Budapest, Galicja Jewish Museum, The Foundation of “Tygodnik Powszechny”, "Tygodnik Powszechny", Mindspace, Andrzej Wajda Centre For Film Culture, CANAL PLUS, “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Radio TOK FM, “Kino po żydowsku”, “Vogue”, Filmweb, The Karta Center, Jewish.pl, VOD.Warszawa.pl oraz Cinema KINOGRAM!

We hope that together we enter the third decade of Warsaw Jewish Film Festival’s “Kamera Dawida” presence. There are many challenges and fascinating projects ahead of us!

Sincerely,

Festival team
